Popping Up Across America is a book about
the travels of a newly retired couple. Arlene
left her job three months before Chuck's
retirement date and planned a cross-country
trip. They left with a truck, a tent, and
camping gear.
After four days of retirement adjustment,
America beckoned to be discovered, so they
hit the road. While camping in Savannah,
GA, the torrential downpours proved too
much. They sold the tent and purchased a
pop-up camper. From that day on, they
never looked back.
